We give you the real account of what actually happened between Sonakshi and Salman at Arpita Khan’s wedding reception…
A news item about an alleged fight between Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha at Arpita Khan’s wedding reception started doing the rounds today after Mumbai Mirror broke the story. Reacting to the falsity of the news Sonakshi tweeted, “And the award for best fiction goes to vickey lalwani from mumbai mirror. U have to read the rubbish he has written today.”
An insider who was present at the wedding reception revealed the true story behind the incident Mumbai Mirror wrote of. This source says that it wasn’t Salman but Arbaaz Khan who was talking to Jr Shotgun. The two were talking about Arbaaz’s upcoming production Dolly Ki Doli. Earlier reports had claimed that Sona was first offered the part of Dolly which was later done by Sonam Kapoor. Arbaaz was spotted telling Sonakshi that the film has turned out to look really good and Sonakshi in turn congratulated him.
No tears or crying whatsoever was involved in that conversation; that part was entirely cooked up by the daily.
New Delhi: The celebrities are in no mood to take any nonsense piece of gossip written about them. Be it Deepika Padukone or Hrithik Roshan in the recent times, all have come out strongly to lambast false stories published about them.
Shotgun junior Sonakshi Sinha is known for keeping her stand clear. After giving Kamaal R Khan, a medicine of his own dose because of an indecent survey that he carried out, Sona has now slammed an English daily over a false piece of news about her.
The English daily had carried a story of Sona and Salman's argument which erupted during Arpita's wedding reception last week, leaving Sonakshi sobbing inconsolably.
Furious at this news, the 27-year-old actress took to Twitter and slammed the report with a pinch of her humour. She tweeted: "And the award for best fiction goes to (reporter name) from (publication name). U have to read the rubbish he has written today".
Well, Sonakshi's firm stand will surely shut the idle gossip mongers up!
New Delhi: The young and dashing Arjun Kapoor is very touched by the support he has received from his fans. His Twitter fan following has reached five lakh and he thanked all for the love and support that he has got over time.
Wow half a million...that's a lot of people...so much love and support...can't fathom how to possibly thank everyone...

The actor who will be next seen in 'Tevar' opposite Sonakshi Sinha had joined the social media site only in June. His fans have been giving tribute to the star by writing 'Arjunzaade' on their hands with lipsticks and pens, in reference to his first film 'Ishaqzaade'.
The young 'Baba' was quite overwhelmed by all the female fans pouring their wishes for him.
The Tevar actress talks about her recent link-up and sharing screen space with Rajinikanth
Actress Sonakshi Sinha, who has been linked romantically to her Tevar co-star Arjun Kapoor, says if they work together and watch films together, it doesn’t mean they’re in a relationship.
Responding to the dating rumors Sonakshi said: “I don’t react to these rumors You should ask people who write about it. If we work together and if we watch a film together, it doesn’t mean you are in a relationship.”Meanwhile, the actress is also happy that she got an opportunity to share screen space with megastar Rajinikanth in southern film Lingaa“.
Talking about the film, she said: “This film is in two parts — one is present day and the other one is set in 1940. The story is well written and more than a romantic interest, my character is a supporter who encourages him (Rajinikanth). So it was easier for me. I am extremely happy to work with Rajini sir.”
The Bollywood bombshell is really excited about her Tamil debut opposite superstar Rajinikanth
Rajinikanth may be a South Indian superstar, but his craze is widespread across the world. Keeping in mind the extreme popularity of Thalaiva, the makers have decided to dub his upcoming flick Lingaa in Hindi and Telugu. For Bollywood movie-goers, if Rajinikanth is not enough to warrant a visit to the theatres, the presence of B-town hottie Sonakshi Sinha is bound to benefit Lingaa big time.
Talking about Rajini, an excited Sona said,” It is a great feeling to be working with Rajini sir… he has worked with my dad and he had told me, ‘I had worked with your dad and now working with Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter feels nice’. He made me feel very comfortable while shooting. I am looking forward to Lingaa’s release.”
Though the trailer hints that Sonakshi Sinha might be playing second fiddle to established South Indian star Anushka Shetty, a little birdie tells us that Sona has surprisingly more screen time than Anushka in the film. When Sonakshi was asked about this, she refused to spill the beans, but said,” The film is a period drama and showcases two eras… Working with Rajini sir has been a great learning experience and an addition to my professional graph. For more details you will need to watch the film.”
Like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, can Sonakshi make it big in Tamil cinema? Answer lies ahead on December 12.

Mumbai: Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor says his son Arjun's evolution over the last few years has motivated him to make his upcoming film 'Tevar', starring the actor.
Boney, 59, has produced the action comedy, which also stars Sonakshi Sinha. He was all praise for Arjun and feels that his hard work is an inspiration for many young actors.
"I feel very proud to see the way Arjun has evolved himself. His dedication, his hard work and his sincerity should inspire many young stars in the country. As you all know he was overweight.
The kind of discipline he showed in shedding his weight, is the motivating factor of 'Tevar'," Boney said during the launch of 'Radha Nachegi' song from the movie.
Boney, who has produced films like 'Mr India', 'No Entry', 'Judaai' and 'Wanted', said Arjun was very helpful during the making of the film, which has been directed by Amit Sharma.
"He was very supportive, in every aspect of the film. He participated in the location hunting, the story-building... I couldn't have asked for a better son. I feel very proud to be his father," the producer said.
'Tevar' is a remake of director Gunasekhar's 2003 Telugu film 'Okkadu'. The film, which also stars Manoj Bajpayee, is scheduled for release on January 9, 2015.
