New Delhi: Popular Pakistani singer Imran Khan is all set to enter the big world of showbiz and make a special place in the hearts of Indian audiences with his new song in 'Tevar'.

Imran is making his entry in Bollywood with a new party anthem titled 'Let's Celebrate'.

Actor-turned-producer Sanjay Kapoor's 'Tevar' has a new adjective coined for it and that is 'Tevariffic'.

After creating buzz with it’s first song 'Radha Nachegi' where Sonakshi flaunts her new lean desi avatar, now is the time for an out-and-out club number.

Both Arjun and Sona look hip, oozing with the right kind of attitude to rock the silver screen.

Tevar song Lets Celebrate teaser: Arjun Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and Imran Khan all set to roll out a New Year anthem!

The popular Pakistani singer makes his entry in Bollywood with this club number from Tevar

Arjun Kapoor-Sonakshi Sinha’s Tevar has been on the tip of the tongue of the fans thanks to real life romance between the lead pair. Not just that, Sanjay Kapoor’s film has made people to sit up and take notice with it’s tevariffic trailer. In fact, such is the reach of Tevar, that a new adjective tevariffic has been coined to describe it.

After creating buzz with it’s first two songs, Superman and Radha Nachegi, the third song titled Lets Celebrate featuring Arjun, Sonakshi and Amplifier singer Imran Khan is set to be out soon. The makers have released the teaser of the song and this is my first impression of the song:

It is the first time one would see Arjun and Sona together in a song. Both Arjun and Sona look stylish, hip, ready to rock the floor to Imran Khan’s tunes. The music suggests that the song will be fast paced club number. The tune has a catchy feel to it, however it is too early to say what the song is all about. More than anything, what caught my eye was a horse in the background doing stunts, standing on two legs. Looks like a fun party number is on our way. But can it be this New Year’s anthem? Lets wait and watch.

Check out the teaser of Lets Celebrate below:

Movies to watch this week: Action Jackson, Bhopal: A Prayer For Rain and Mumbai Delhi Mumbai

A highly acclaimed Hollywood project clashes with a Prabhu Dheva directorial along with a Marathi remake this Friday. A pretty mixed bag we must say! All the three films are of different genres and are sure to enthrall the audiences. So which ones should you watch and which one should you pass? Read on to find out…

Action Jackson

Synopsis: Vishy (Ajay Devgn) is a fun loving and carefree small time crook and Moosa (Kunal Roy Kapur) is his friend as well as accomplice in all his actions, adventures and escapades. It is an irony and coincidence that Vishy meets Khushi (Sonakshi) one day. Khushi is considered the unluckiest girl by her friends because bad luck follows her like a shadow everywhere. But her luck changes the day she meets Vishy. And then the realization that Vishy is lucky for her dawns on her when she bumps into him for the third time. From then on she relentlessly tries to pursue him so that her luck changes. As a result there are a lot of funny incidents that lead to them falling in love with each other. One day a man accidentally sees Vishy’s picture and gets stunned as he makes a call and somehow tries to inform Mafioso Xavier, a deadly and dreaded international Mafia Don. Xavier immediately dispatches his notorious henchmen to Mumbai. Vishy is unaware that a whole network of Police and Underworld are on the lookout for him. Vishy is in shock at the sudden turn of events and soon a deadly secret unfolds before him. This secret is sure to change Vishy’s life forever. A secret that forces him to travel to Bangkok to meet the Mafioso Xavier. A secret that can get him killed. Why is Vishy compelled to risk his life and travel to Bangkok? Who is the other women in Vishy’s life? Where does Khushi stand in this scenario? Will Vishy be able to untangle the complex web of deceit and crime that he has fallen into? For all the answers we will have to wait and watch the film.

Why should you watch: It’s a Prabhu Dheva directorial. Most of his past directorial films have been blockbusters and this one too seems to have all the ingredients of a hit. Ajay Devgn is coming back this year after the super successful Singham Returns. Sonakshi Sinha is back after two superhit films R…Rajkumar and Holiday. Yami Gautam also makes her presence felt throughout the trailer and the promos. All of these will definitely make this a must watch.

Bhopal: A Prayer For Rain

Director: Ravi Kumar

Star cast: Martin Sheen, Mischa Barton, Kal Penn, David Brooks, Rajpal Yadav, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Manoj Joshi, Fagun Thakrar, Gopichand Lagadapati, Akhil Mishra, Joy Sengupta

Synopsis: Bhopal: A Prayer For Rain depicts events leading to the biggest man-made industrial disaster in history, which killed as many as 10,000 people in a single night. The movie is a narration of the story from Dilip’s perspective. Dilip (played by Rajpal Yadav), a rickshaw driver in Bhopal, India, lands himself a job at the Union Carbide plant. The job is tough and risky with long hours, but everyone wants to hold on to their pay cheque and so Dilip keeps quiet when he notices managers at the plant ignoring safety standards. The negligence at Union Carbide led to the leakage of methyl isocyanate which killed thousands of people. Tens of thousands of people still suffer from illnesses caused by the exposure to this gas.

Why should you watch: Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain is a historical-drama film set amidst the real-life Bhopal disaster that had occurred in India on December 2–3, 1984. It has some great Hollywood as well as Bollywood actors like Martin Sheen, Mischa Barton, Kal Penn, Rajpal Yadav, Tannishtha Chatterjee, and Fagun Thakrar who promise stellar performances. It is a dramatization, inspired by real events. It has won many awards at various film festivals and also has been applauded by the United Nations. All these make it a must watch film.

Mumbai Delhi Mumbai

Director: Satish Rajwade

Star cast: Shiv Pandit, Pia Bajpai

Synopsis: Piya (Pia Bajpai), a typical “Mumbai” girl, makes her first ever day trip to Delhi and agrees to meet a possible match for marriage on her mother’s insistence. She lands in Delhi determined to reject the guy after meeting him because after all he’s from “Delhi”. However, as it turns out she loses her phone while fighting with an auto driver and meets Goli Kohli (Shiv Pandit), a witty “Delhi” boy who grudgingly agrees to help her. One thing leads to another and they end up spending the entire day together. They fight, they argue, they laugh and share a lifetime of emotions in one day. When they meet in the morning they are strangers with strong biases about Mumbai & Delhi, when they part in the evening, the biases have turned into affection for each other’s quirks and finally, love.

Why should you watch: While Marathi films are usually adapted from Hindi scripts (Not necessarily always), Satish Rajawade decided to do the rarer task of creating a Hindi film based upon one in Marathi. Using his popular Marathi film Mumbai Pune Mumbai as the template, he reworked the original film to give it a wider national appeal. This might make for an interesting watch.

So audiences, go ahead and take your pick for this week.

Prabhu Dheva: It’s my dream to work with Amitabh Bachchan

The Action Jackson director revealed his wish to work with the legend

Actor-filmmaker Prabhu Dheva says he’s a huge fan of Amitabh Bachchan and that he harbors a dream to work with the megastar. “I want to work with Amitabh sir. I don’t know when that is going to happen. I didn’t tell sir about this though I have met him before. It’s my dream to work with him. I’ve loved all his films and I’m a huge fan of Amitabh and Rajinikanth sir,” Prabhu Dheva told IANS. Busy promoting his forthcoming film Action Jackson, starring Sonakshi Sinha, Yami Gautam and Manasvi Mamgai, Prabhu Dheva says each of the actresses have important roles in the film. “In this film, I’ve roped in three actresses and it was kind of them to accept this offer. When I narrated the story, I made it very clear that there are going to be three actresses and nobody questioned me and just said ‘yes’. It’s very sweet of them and all three of them have important roles in the film,” he said. The film is slated for release Dec 5.

‘Bigg Boss 8’: Salman-Sonakshi the sizzling duo!

New Delhi: 'Dabangg' queen Sonakshi Sinha visited the 'Bigg Boss' house Sunday to promote her upcoming film 'Action Jackson' directed by Prabhudeva.

Sporting her new bob haircut, she looked ravishing after shedding her kilos. Sonakshi was happy like child when Salman complimented her hard work on getting lean.

Salman and Sona's chemistry on the show had kept the fans glued to their seats.

Salman Khan in his trademark style mimicked 'Shotgun Sinha' (Shatrughan Sinha) thereby making Sonakshi burst into laughter. The 'Dabangg' duo had a gala time together on the 'Bigg Boss' stage.

Sunday's episode of 'Bigg Boss 8' put all rumours about a rift between Sonakshi and Salman to rest.

To the audience's surprise, Salman denied his patch up with Shahrukh as Sonakshi seemed to mention about the same.

Salman asked junior shotgun about which B-Town diva should be cast in 'Dabangg' third franchise. And Sonakshi was prompt enough to name herself by saying 'Koi aake to dikhae'.

Sonakshi also entered the 'Bigg Boss' house to meet the inmates and saw some amazing performances by them.

Mannara looks tacktastic, says Aniket Satam about the Zid actress’s fashion statement this week!

Our in-house fashion designer and critic Aniket Satam decodes celeb style statements of the week. Some impress, some depress and some are plain disasters! Teaser-Aniket-Says Manara-0111214 Shraddha-kapoor-011214 Sonaksh DSC_5481-0111214 27-11-2014-112114 Read on what he says…

Barbie Handa aka Mannara : With a name like that you can’t help and draw similarities with your namesake plastic icon. The match-up is plain patchy and the bright mouth just makes it worse. The slouchy top with those Gym leggings, off Hill road street shops makes the look more tacky and who wears two different styles of cuff in both the hands firstly. Tackastic!

Shraddha Kapoor : How stunning does Ms Kapoor look in this elegant floral 50s style dress.Old school sash belt dress with painterly print can be extremely tricky but Shraddha with her evergreen (Pun intended) girl-next-door charm makes this classic American style work. With that print so loud, minimal accessories route compliments the entire impact of the casual yet formal dressing.

Sonakshi Sinha : After last weeks misses, Sona bounces back in her stylist best in this classic monochrome number. The fitted pencil skirt with button white shirt works stunningly with those curled short hair.Laid back pendant chain and strappy sandals complete this look with a fun quotient. She looks radiating and stunning.

Ranveer Singh: That perfect pastel suit combination is just murdered with an odd maroon bowler hat. A sassy beret in grey or classic beige fedora would have added to this look but this weird-colored funny hat just ruined the entire effort of dressing up. An all bald appearance would add to the quirkier appeal to Mr Funny Bone.

Shruti Haasan: Worst thing can happen to any couture gown is an awkward pose which kills the soul of any well crafted design. That leg formation and hands on hips makes one look funny.

So you agree with Aniket’s judgement? Tell us in the comments section below!

Sonakshi Sinha to romance Fawad Khan?

Mumbai: Sonakshi Sinha may be the second Indian actress to romance Pakistan’s Fawad Khan in a Bollywood film.

If the latest report is anything to go by, then Shotgun junior will be paired opposite India’s latest heartthrob from across the border in a film based on poet-writer Amrita Pritam and Sahir Ludhyanvi’s lives.

Fawad made a million hearts skip a beat as Zaroon Junaid in Zindagi’s ‘Zibdagi Gulzar Hai’. He then wooed his female fans as a majestic Rajput Prince in Sonam Kapoor’s ‘Khoobsurat’.

It will be interesting to see if Fawad and Sona’s chemistry succeeds in creating magic on screen.
